The Main Line Music Appreciation Society (“MLMAS”) is a nascent social community for adults who are passionate about music, eager to share music, and seek to expand their music horizon.  Unlike purely online music forums, MLMAS aspires to foster deeper connections among music lovers in the Main Line area of suburban Philadelphia. As the ethos of MLMAS is keeping an open ear to music, the community will seek to explore a wide range of music genres. While the emphasis will be on recorded music, the community will maintain an active dialog on the local concert scene and encourage live music outings. 

Community Partnerships

MLMAS will seek to develop partnerships with local businesses, including HiFi retailers, concert venues, theaters, and community centers that may occasionally host the monthly listening sessions or special events. A/V specialists will have the opportunity to showcase the latest audio equipment and technologies, while live music venues can access an enthusiastic customer base. Local musicians can post to the online forum on a dedicated channel to highlight new material, upcoming concerts, and any other noteworthy developments.
